Terms of Service

Last updated: 23 July 2026

1. Who we are

This service is operated by Mortar Automation, a Dutch sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak) owned by Dan Bennett, registered with the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 42119993 ("Mortar", "we", "us"). Contact: hello@mortarautomation.com.

2. The service

Mortar provides done-for-you business-process automation on a subscription basis: we build, host, run, and maintain automations on your behalf, with a human reviewing sensitive actions before they run. Availability is provided on a commercially reasonable, best-efforts basis.

3. Your responsibilities

4. Subscriptions & payment

Subscription terms — price, billing cycle, and cancellation — are presented and agreed at sign-up before any payment is taken. You may cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. Applicable taxes (including Dutch BTW where required) are shown at checkout.

5. Your data

Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

6. Liability & warranties

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mortar Automation is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, and disputes are subject to the competent Dutch courts.

8. Changes

We may update these terms; we'll communicate material changes to active subscribers before they take effect.
